Statistical question about logistic regression simulation
Hi R help list
I'm simulating logistic regression data with a specified odds ratio
(beta) and have a problem/unexpected behaviour that occurs.
The datasets includes a lognormal exposure and diseased and healthy
subjects.
Here is my loop:
ors <- vector()
for(i in 1:200){
# First, I create a vector with a lognormally distributed exposure:
n <- 10000 # number of study subjects
mean <- 6

second try; writing user-defined GLM link function
I apologize for my earlier posting that, unbeknownst to me before,
apparently was not in the correct format for this list. Hopefully this

against me.
I could really use some help in writing a new glm link function in

how to best present concentrated data points/ ggplot2
Hi all,
I am trying to plot a weighted density plot for two different types and want to show the data points on the x axis.
The code is as follows. The data points are very concentrated. Is there a better way to present it( should I set the alpha value or something else)?
Thanks!
YL
library(ggplot2)
x <- rnorm(10000)
a <- rnorm(5000)
b <- rnorm(5000)
weights.x <- abs(a/sum(a))

Expo and Window Snapping
Not sure if this is where bugs should be reported, but here it goes.
When Window Snapping is on and Expo mode is launched, dragging windows is
jerky near the edges. This is especially noticeable with large windows,
such as maximized Windows. There is an Expo option called "Immediate moves"
that disables wobbly. If the problem is not easily fixed, perhaps
