Task View for ecology/environmental science
Having just discovered "Task Views" I see there isn't one for
ecology/environmental science.
I don't have the expertise to help with this, but I think it would be
a very useful addition if there was any person (s) on the list willing
to help create such a Task View.
I am sure the maintainers of the Task Views will pick up on any
responses to this post from volunteers.
I personally would be very grateful, ands woul...

logistic regression: differential importance of regressors
Hi, All. I have a logistic regression model that I have run. The
question came up: which of these regressors is more important than
another?

Gluster consulting
Yeah, unfortunately that's all that have come forward as available. I
think the demand for gluster expertise is just so high and the pool of
experts so low that there's nobody left to do consulting work.

[LLVMdev] -arch option ignored?

Well, I guess this task exceeds my expertise. I just thought there
was some obvious mistake I made because a lot of people might be
using llvm-gcc4 as a drop-in to Apple's gcc to build multi-
architecture binaries.
I'll have a look at build_gcc, maybe I can figure this out. I guess
that in future versions of the front-end bina...

Gluster consulting
Thanks for the replies Joe.
Yes, it does seem that Gluster is a very in-demand expertise. And it's
hard to justify the cost of Red Hat's commercial offering without first
putting a POC in place to confirm viability.
Thanks again,

AMP Anyone?
Hi all, I have been using Asterisk for a while now, and loving it. Just about to update to 1.0 (running like 0.93)
I was wondering if anyone has any expertise in the implementation of AMP onto an existing Asterisk install? The instructions for it all deal with a fresh install of Asterisk, and I would hate to be forced to re-configure. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

BUMP: "Click" at end of SPX files?
Hi Jean-MArc (and others),
As I say in my mail, signal processing is NOT my area of expertise, and
I am lost. I haven't the faintes clue about what you mean by "DC offset".
This is why I offer paying someone (ANYONE!!!) to solve the problem. I
am aware it's beyond my abilities right now, and am willing to pay
someone who /does/ know what he is doing to fix it for me....

xPL and Asterisk?
...sking in another thread this week, but I'm not sure people saw
the actual subject of the question. Does anyone know where to find
documentation of xPL, the home automation interface? Specifically for
integrating it with Asterisk. xPL is part of Trixbox, so it's being
used, but where is some expertise for using it without Trixbox?
