SIP Mass exodus
Hi all, I've been seeing some strangeness lately on my 10.2.1 server. It's gotten to the point that a few times each day, I see masses of SIP clients becoming unreachable. They're not all on the same network, and we don't see any calls drop. In a few seconds, they all come back. I don't think it's a connectivity issue because we don't drop calls, and the endpoints

diagnosing read performance problem
Hi all, I''ve got a lot of video files on a zfs/cifs fileserver running SXCE. A little while ago the dual onboard NICs died and I had to replace them with a PCI 10/100 NIC. The system was fine for a couple of weeks but now the performance when viewing a video file from the cifs share is appauling. Videos stop and jerk with audio distortion. I have tried this from several client machines

Attempts to formalize a social code for participating in an open source project, where factors that are not related to project merit are included such as sexuality, ideology and ethnicity, will by its nature cause a competence exodus, and left will be the legacy of what the previous productive participants did before they were scared away by the "social conformists" who now dominate. Relinking (syscall-free) ELF executable into Mach-O and PE executables
Hi, Let's suppose we have an ELF executable that doesn't issue any syscall (I mean, syscalls are issued from an external dynamic library, not from the executable, and we can ignore such dynamic library because we have the proper equivalent library with the proper syscalls in MacOS and Windows). So, the question: Is it "currently possible" (by "currently possible" I

Most such vulns are against Apache, PHP, etc, which do not run as root.
