Theora hardware is running on LEON3!
Theora hardware with LEON3 is runinng!!!
My video was too slow, then I discovered that the problem was on LINUX!
I don't exactly, but I suppose that the time of LINUX Call systems (like
fread()) is the problem. If I don't use the linux (like is done on NIOS), I
can to decode much faster than the time of exibition!
Now we have two points on software (the hardware is the same,

Problems With DAHDI on Ubuntu
I have 2 separate Asterisk servers that are both exibiting this problem. 1
has a 4 port
FXO digium card, the other an 8 port.
For some reason when the machine reboots, the dahdi drivers are not properly
loaded. Then asterisk
ends up starting without dahdi support. I've tried everything that I can
think of, even to the point
of running dahdi_cfg in...

lattice graphics and source()
Hi,
I am trying the lattice graphics in R. Let's say, such a little
experiment in file myprog.r:
f <- function(){
x <- 1:10
y <- x^2
xyplot(y ~ x)
}
f()
Then I run the program:
> source("myprog.r")
but nothing happens. Manully run f() at the command line:
> f()
then the figure is shown. This seems to be a bug only associated with
lattice graphics, the

ATA not sending data to asterisk?
Hi,
I've just setup a second asterisk system and am having a wierd
problem. If I am on the same network as the system it works fine...
if I am outside coming in from the internet through a NAT I get the
following:
I can place calls.... I can hear the asterisk system. The asterisk
system does not seem to hear me. When I do a tcpdump I don't even see

fxp damages dmesg?
Motherboard ASUS CUSL2-C with 815EP chipset and
two Intel 82559 Pro/100 Ethernet cards
exibits the following.
dmesg reports usual text only a few seconds after reboot.
Later it displays a single line with a fragment of ipfw log, e.g.
167 213.131.11.152 in via fxp0
which seems to change with each new activity of ipfw.
Files /var/log/dmesg.today and /var/log/dmesg.yesterday

smbfs hang with moderate use
This may not be the place to talk about smbfs, but it's also possible this is a samba problem...
Here's the situation, I mount a share on my Linux client from a Linux samba server, and it seems to work okay at
first... If I try and play a video from the share, it hangs after an unspecified time, maybe 5-10 mins... if I try and
play multiple video's, or let konquror try and

Samba Domain Controller + Router
I have a Samba Domain Controller running on a Windows/Linux hybrid
network. Actually, the network is in a state of transition right now and
I'm occupying my time by planning its re-design. So, assume that when I
set it up again, I'll be using the latest release of Samba (or any
previous release you may recommend).
Now, to the point... A couple of the Windows clients on this domain will,

de-essing into speex?
are there plans to add "de-essing" as part of the speexenc procedure,
to make it possible to use lower quality compression without getting
those horrible computer-like "ess" sounds in the finished result?
like if you say "someone said the sun is shining", there is a lot of
ess sounds, and these will sound "computer-ish" at vbr qualities below
9.

I don't mean to be rude but what bit rate is windows media encoder
encoding at and what encoder (type) are you using... Unless its low
(32kbps-8kbps) it doesn't compare to speex (spx).

PSTN->SIP->PSTN transfer problem
Hi all
I have a rather odd problem that I hope somebody can shed some light on. I
have a Asterisk server (1.0.7) that is connected to a Cisco 2600 router
(c2600-is-mz.122-28a) fitted with an E1 card. The E1 is configured for QSig
and is conencted to our local Ericsson MD110 which goes out to the PSTN. We
have a DID range assigned to the E1 and can make and receive calls from/to
SIP attached

of quota used.
Meanwhile, all output of the C program has been captured to a temp file to be
displayed to the user via "smbclient" WinPopup message indicating they are
approaching their limit if they meet or exceed 85%.
My problem is this: It works wonderfully, except it seems to be exibiting a
"root postexec" because I get a beep at logoff, and the next user sees the
buffered WinPopup message from the previous user.
I have *no* "root postexec" clause at all.
Any help would be wonderful - I can't see it!

Second Copy 2000 problem
...samba log file and it appears to be
concatinating the share name somehow, so i thought, OK i'll create a
'fake' share to get around this problem, but the problem still appears.
I have two shares, one called data and one called retailm. you can see
from the log file that both shares are exibiting the same behaviour. Can
you point me to either a work around or let me know when a fix will be
available?

s.wma windows media encoder with 19khz voice compression ( 62K)

Can you reproduce this bug on wine-20050930 like me?
Can you reproduce this bug? Follow these steps:
1. Install Filezilla:
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/filezilla/FileZilla_2_2_16_setup.exe?download
2. FTP into the server of your choice
3. Click and drag files from the server to your local
machine (to copy them)
4. Realize now that even though the files have been
copied to your machine, you are still dragging the
files around

de-essing into speex?
Hi,
I think I see what you mean, though I haven't been able to listen to
your wma file (not everyone has a wma decoder). The problem probably
only lies in the VBR tuning for wideband which hasn't received much work
yet. One way to check that is to encode in constant bit-rate and see
what the results are. I'm pretty sure you'll notice the problem appears
only at (CBR) quality 5 or

How to still processing despite bug errors?
...pecific
syntax to perform the Spectral Analysis and a loop to analyse all subjects.
each subject data are in separate folders (P1, P2 P3...)
My question is: in some cases, some errors can appear in one subject. I want
to know if is possible to jump to the next subject and perform the same
syntax , exibiting an error like:
Working on P1
Error "X" in P1
Working on P2...
The idea is to let the computer processing continuosly all the subjects and
at the end only see the problems in the subjects that R could not perform
the analysis.
Each Subject takes 20 minutes to perform the analysis and I...
