Simple effects with Design / rms ols() function
Hi everyone,
I'm having some difficulty getting "simple effects" for the ols()
function in the rms package. The example below illustrates my
difficulty -- I'll be grateful for any help.

Shockwave problem in office 2007

i have big trouble with office 2007, powerpoint can't show flash objects this is the output of wineconsole:

libmsi.a import library from wine, and header files available (entirely free software), available for python-win32 builds under msys+wine
...surprise-surprise, _msi.pyd
successfully builds.
i say successfully builds: but then, running from _outside_ of a
wineconsole cmd, doing this:
/usr/local/bin/wine ./python.exe -c 'import _msi'
succeeds.
but if you do this:
/usr/local/bin/wineconsole cmd
c:/python2.5/bin/python.exde -c 'import _msi'
you get an "access violation - no access to memory" blah blah
to be honest, i don't care about that: this message is to let people
know that it _is_ possible, and, if anyone is interested in e.g.
adding -lmsi -lcabinet support to MinGW, here's where you...

Problems starting Server 2008 x64 after added to samba domain
Hi
I have a problem with Windows Server Ent (and Std) 2008 x64 running on
IBM Blade Center. I can add it to the Samba domain but when I restart
it, it comes to "Applying computer settings..." and if I connect with
rdesktop I can see a screen saying "Please wait for the group policy
client" and after some minutes it restarts. I can boot it in Safe mode,
remove from domain
