Keyboard doesn't work unless..
Keyboard doesn't work unless one of either ctrl is pressed down. However it's not reasonable for you to keeping doing this while playing games. I've upgraded my system from Fedora14 to 16 recently.(Excactly reinstalled) This issue seems likely caused by Gnome3,but not enough evidence for the assumption. I didn't change any key maping after the system upgrade, just left it default. Any idea to solve?

Samba Backup Printserver
Hi all, I have set up two print servers with cups and samba 3.0.1. One of the samba servers is active and serves the windows clients. If the active server crashes (by hard- or software) I want to be able to make the other samba server active and act as the crashed samba server within minutes. Due to the fact that installing the windows printer drivers on samba takes a long time ( belonging to

Status of vorbis-tahseen branch -- OggSkeleton support in vorbisfile
...y for it maybe to modify the _get_*_page method to skip any non-vorbis pages. How to know which type of stream (vorbis/theora) a certain page belongs to would be a challenge because of binary compatibility issue. IP based bandwith limit
Hi, i''ve following problem. One of our gateway router, which connects some of our customers should have bandwith limit. So customer A with IP XX should have 2 Mbit, customer B with IP YY should have 10 Mbit. There is no need of borrowing bandwith so no fairness needed. My simple question: with which technique should I manage this shaping? Or is there any existing project which

Samba & AutoCad 2007
Hi, I'm managing a Samba server for almost 4 year now and I've got some glitch with AutoCad & Samba, but I've found many solution to solved those problems. Last week, I receive many complains about some users that experience problem using AutoCad. In fact, it's not AutoCad but Advance Steel Metal 2009 (plugin for AutoCad). In this new version of Advance, there is a new

Triangular filled contour plot
Hi all, I am working on a filled contour plot which shows a triangular matrix data set (as shown below). Is there a possibilty to draw a triangular filled contour in a equilateral triangle (like a ternary plot)? Thanks in advance Johannes http://n4.nabble.com/file/n1557386/Bild3.png -- View this message in context: http://n4.nabble.com/Triangular-filled-contour-plot-tp1557386p1557386.html

win95 + linux oplock error, even with kernel oplocks = no.
Hi all, I've posted a similar message a few weeks ago. I had the 'oplock' problem. I run a linux server with samba (specification below). I get a reply who told me to disable kernel oplocks and oplocks. I did exactly what he told me to do. I hoped it worked... but it did not... From there one i started reading in the archives and followed the 'lock' discussions in this list.

Database Triggers?
Hi, I''m new to RoR and exploring its use with an existing application. One thing I can''t seem to find much detail on is using database triggers. All RoR examples and tutorials I''ve seen are very basic saving data back to a single table. My use case includes a somewhat denormalized DB that uses triggers to store data in multiple tables on occassion. I currently

XML - get node by name
Hi there, I try to rewrite some Java-code with R. It deals with reading XML files. I started with the XML package. In Java, I had a very useful method which gave me a node by using: name of the node index of appearance start point: global (false) / local (true) So, I could do something like this. setCurrentChildNode("data", 0); getValueOfElement("val",1,true); -->
