[SAMBA4 RC1] Strange internal DNS behaviour
Hello
I'm using samba4 rc1 since 2 months as PDC with samba4 internal DNS.
Everything works but i can't ping domain clients even from samba
machine. Clients are named as station00x.domain.lan where x is station
number. But even on SambaPDC i can't ping it with for exapmle:
ping station004.domain.lan or ping stacja003. Nslookup says that there
is no host like that. Funny becouse domain works ok, from machines
joined to domain i can't also ping other stations with their names.
Query to samba internal dns returns that the hostnames are unknown.

Html Email Problem
Dear Rubyians,
I am facing problems to send Html Email scnce one month.
I changed the content type is text/html and charecter set "utf-8"
I worte the html code in the confirm.heml in the action mailer folder.
but mail is going with html code
Exapmle: <html border="2"> <tr><td></td></tr></html> code in the
confirm .html
In the mail i got total code same format what is the wrong

Couldn't open INBOX: Timeout while waiting for lock
...lly assume that it is
the later where they are hitting the error.
While I see in the source these errors are Temporary Errors; I do wonder
what is the specific cause and what should we be looking at to address the
errors.
One thing we have noticed is that the errors do not occur regulararly.
For exapmle, there were no such errors reported on June 9 or June 10;
however on June 11 and 12 the errors started to appear.
Any direction / pointers are greatly appreciated.

Run it and watch how /bin/sh slowly increases
its SIZE, RES, WCPU and CPU values.
This is an exapmle. My real script grows upto 70Mb in size
and eats all of idle Pentium-III 866Mhz cycles, it is
machine-generated and runs 24x7x365. It's twice smaller
than this test case.
Now I have to restart it from time to time.

[Samba 4rc1] no ping to domain clients

Rejecting a Call
All,
Is there a way of rejecting a call using SIP in the Asterisk Dialplan?
Essentially, I want to look at the called number and if it matches
something I don't like I want to send back a SIP response which will not
cause the other end to 'hunt'. The response codes that will achieve
this are:
401 Unauthorized
403 Forbidden
Is there a way of getting Asterisk to send back such a

voip quality/bandwidth/latency techniques
I have voip quality issues I would like to minimize. I have a ~=
3M/384k (Comcast) cable modem and a CentOS based Linux router (SME 7,
2.6.9 kernel) with 5 NAT''d devices (3 PCs "DHCP", 2 Vonage adapters

Dear R-community,
I am looking for some simple advice - I have a matrix (therefore 2 dimensional)
of global temperature.
Having read R-help I think that when I ask R to image() or levelplot() my matrix
will it actually appear upside down - I think I therefore need to use the line:

linux box as vlan p2p limiter and firewall?

I would like to do some firewalling and p2p shaping/limiting on one of
the vlans in my network and I was thinking of using linux box as
transparent bridged firewall/limiter. For this I''m planning to use AMD64
2.2Ghz box with 2 1gbit NIC (Broadcom 5721), that will be bridged. The

FW: error predicting values from the LME

I might add some more information in order to possibly solve my problem. I'm

We just had a security application vendor come in. We asked about Linux
support and he said that putting a security application on top of an
insecure OS was useless. When I asked what he meant by insecure he replied
that Linux does not have a true Auditing capability - as opposed to HP-UX &
Solaris which they do support. Can anyone explain to me what he was talking
about?
