...hared (partially) between some 20 or so users. The setup is dovecot-1.0.3-6.fc6, procmail-3.22-17.1, sendmail-8.13.8-2. Procmail has a single recipe in /etc/procmailrc that simply says "DEFAULT=$HOME/Maildir/". The problem is that I am seeing a lot of blank emails being created. For exaample, every time I open a folder from this shared account, I get either one or two emails being created on the spot. The are /always/ created with the current date and time stamp (i.e. now) and at the same time a tail -f of maillog shows something like this: > May 19 09:10:05 sydsrv56 dovecot: I...

pch and mkh bug PR#225
...ch' is given as a number. This comment is also made in the help for the `par' function within R. This would appear to be a bug, using `cex' is correct only when giving a character. (2) The plotting of axis labels on an axis becomes confused if the `at' vector is descending. For exaample, consider the following: labels <- c("A", "B", "C", "D") Y <- c(13.75, 10.50, 7.25, 4.0) X <- c(1, 2, 3, 4) plot(X,Y, xlim=c(0,5),ylim=c(0,15)) axis(side=4,at=Y,labels=labels) According to the S manual `label[i]' is plotted at coordinate `at[...

Naming a random effect in lmer
Dear guRus: I am using lmer for a mixed model that includes a random intercept for a set of effects that have the same distribution, Normal(0, sig2b). This set of effects is of variable size, so I am using an as.formula statement to create the formula for lmer. For example, if the set of random effects has dimension 8, then the lmer call is: Zs<-
