[Kerberos] Error at Handbook?
Hi!
I'm quite new to the list, but searching the archive and PRs didn't
show me anything on the matter.
According to FreeBSD Handbook (14.8.2 Setting up a Heimdal KDC) one
should config DNS server by adding:
-----
_kerberos IN TXT EXAMPLE.ORG.
-----
This doesn't work. DNS servers returns: text = "EXAMPLE.ORG.".
This is right, because RFC 1035 allows up to

Everything but [Homes] works
I am migrating from my "old" 2.2.7 samba server to a newer server runnig
3.0.20a and everythig is working except the [homes] share. The server
(FILE-CABINET) is a member of the domain, security is set to ADS and, as
far as I can tell, kerberos is working. The program wbinfo returns a
list of users and groups like it should. getent passwd returns first my
local passwd file and then

[myshare]
valid users = j.smith
write list = j.smith
etc...
/etc/samba/smbusers file contains this:
jsmith = j.smith

Debian 9.8 and vanbelle-repos
Stefan,
If everythig works now. Then keep it as is.
Most probly it was the firewall that caused the problem.
@Rowland, good point. Im everytime amazed with all the commands you know.. :-)
And SID: S-1-5-21domain-513 = domain users.
These are "Samba Sids" S-1-22-[1-2]
1 useres
2 groups
And thats corect with wbinfo -g 10513 shows all groups.

glusterfs brick server use too high memory
Thank you very much for your reply.
I think I found the key to the problem. But, I'd like you to confirm whether this is the issue.
My gluster version is 3.8.9, And I found there is a bug in it, and fixed in 3.8.11:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1431592
A large amount of memory allocated for agf_common_mt_strdup. Everythig else seem to be all right.

Introducing the Asterisk Realtime Architecture - ARA
I've added an introduction article about the ARA on my web site
http://www.voip-forum.com/
The same text is now also added to CVS head as README.realtime.
On the same site, you will also find the news item about how we used
Asterisk for a call from an airline jet above Greenland to Stockholm,
Sweden. The world is getting smaller and more connected every day!

glusterfs brick server use too high memory
Hi all,
I'm glad to add glusterfs community.
I have a glusterfs cluster:
Nodes: 4
System: Centos7.1
Glusterfs: 3.8.9
Each Node:
CPU: 48 core
Mem: 128GB
Disk: 1*4T
There is one Distributed Replicated volume. There are ~160 k8s pods as clients connecting to glusterfs. But, the memory of glusterfsd process is too high, gradually increase to 100G every node.
Then, I reboot the glusterfsd

Hai,
That bond0 interface, you might want to change that the interface name to bond1
Depending on the bonding settings, you might have hit a reserved name.
I lots my docu on that but i know i configured a bond1 because bond0 didn work right.
And then check these.
wbinfo -pPt ( or wbinfo -p && wbinfo -P && wbinfo -t )
wbinfo --sids-to-unix-ids S-1-22-2-10513

Newbie - deployment, hosting
Hello,
So, after learning ruby on rails and building a great app on my local
machine, I need to find a host, deploy, and of course maintain a (staging
and) production environment.
This all seems very confusing, and I''d like to learn this in an organized
manner, step by step:
I''ve come across the names: Unicorn, nginx/apache, capistrano,
Thin/mongrel, Engine Yard, EC2, etc.,

Marking packets by mac addr using tc filter u32 match?
Hi
Is there a way of marking packets by mac address instead of ip or ports
using a "tc filter u32 match"?
I read somewhere that I could use the offset -8 and -14 to grab the mac
addresses but if I use anything lower than -8, for example -9, I get an
error.
I''m modifying the wondershaper script to cap the download speed by mac
address.
Any sugestions?
