Samba4 alpha17 GIT raise domain functional level
Hi. We are using samba4 as our production AD for a while in a mixed (XP, win2k3, win7, win2k8) environment. This post: http://lists.samba.org/archive/samba-technical/2011-February/076525.html mentions that to raise the functional level one should use this command: samba-tool domainl evel raise --domain=2008 --forest=2008 but in our current git version this command doesn't work due to the fact that there is no --domain switch as shown below: # samba-tool domain level --help Usage: samba-tool domain level (show | raise <...

strange tickmarks placing in image
...ly with the image cells, but the tickmarks via "axis" are slightely shifted, and not aligned perfectly with the image cells. The offset is even stonger for the y-axis. The thing is that I don't want 84 lables at the axis, it's enough to have one lable for all the different factor level combinations, which results in 28 labels. Maybe you have an idea how to setup the command to align the tick marks properly. thanks for your help, kind regards, Arne Here are my commands: > library(marrayPlots) # for the colors > col <- maPalette(low='white', high='dark...

lme4 and incomplete block design
Dear list members, I try to simulate an incomplete block design in which every participants receives 3 out of 4 possible treatment. The outcome in binary. Assigning a binary outcome to the BIB or PBIB dataset of the package SASmixed gives the appropriate output. With the code below, fixed treatment estimates are not given for each of the 4 possible treatments, instead a kind of summary

Re: [hylafax-users] Having problems running sendfax from a bash script.
I've been working on a way to send faxes from a bash script. It requires changing what parameters are used for each command. I keep having problems with quoted strings passed to the command. I've created a really short test script which fails on my system. commandline="sendfax -f noreply at prudentrx.com -n -x \"Test fax\" -d 13105551212 /etc/hosts" echo

pgmm (Blundell-Bond) sample needed
Dear R Experts--- Sorry for all the questions yesterday and today. I am trying to use Yves Croissant's pgmm function in the plm package with Blundell-Bond moments. I have read the Blundell-Bond paper, and want to run the simplest model first, d[i,t] = a*d[i,t-1] + fixed[i] + u[i,t] . no third conditioning variables yet. the full set of moment conditions recommended for system-GMM,

[LLVMdev] Garbage collection
One of the more interesting subjects of conversation at the 2008 developer day was related to garbage collection. With the increasing number of LLVM-based VMs and other projects, I suspect that the desire for more comprehensive garbage collection support in LLVM is only going to increase. (I am now involved in two different open-source projects both of which will...
