I suggest that we shouldn't use euphemisms when it's far more valuable to come out and say it. I would certainly appreciate if the centos docs explicitly tagged the other repos with these comments. Factual commentary about risks does not come anywhere close to libel... regards, mark hahn.

Bug in Sweave? -- scoping problem? (PR#8615)
I have found a strange scoping problem in Sweave. The following Rnw file doesn't produce the same output in Sweave as it does if I produce an R file using Stangle and execute that: \documentclass[12pt]{article} \begin{document} <<R>>= election <- data.frame(A=1:3, B=9:7, C=rep(0,3)) partytotal <- rep(0, ncol(election)) for (i in 1:ncol(election)) { partytotal[i] <-

Advanced Format Technology
While researching another issue unrelated to Syslinux, I found some mildly disturbing news that affects Syslinux. As HPA stated back on 2009-06-04, hard drive manufacturers are pushing towards a 4096B (4kiB; 4k) native sector size. They're calling it "Advanced Format Technology". It appears that WD (Western Digital; WDC) is the first with some products being released back in

Personally, I get servers with enough SFF-8087 SAS connectors on them to address all the disks in the system. I haven?t bothered with add-on SATA...

Shorewall make my firewall fly!
I''ve just put in production a Linux firewall with 4 ethernet interfaces and 3 openvpn tun virtual interfaces. With Shorewall everything work like a charm (only a little hassle with some details, due to bad configuration, not bugs!) Great tool! Tom and other Shorewall developers, you all are great! As your dput() shows, the argument *is* a simple vector .. and even if the default dput() may loose a few bits in precison... you did show that with (possibly only almost) identical argument, the error did not happen. centos Installation on Multiple machines
Hi, I want to install customized centos on multiple systems. Can PXE boot do that ? Apart from this is there any other way of doing image copy of centos OS and installing it on several client machines through network. I used clonezilla, but after image cloning, i will again have to use the clonezilla LIVE CD on client machine to do a image restore. I want to make a clone of centos OS and
