Upgrade from CentOS 5.x to 6.0
Great news about CentOS 6.0 being available, and I figured I'd ask the most
obvious question, what can I expect when upgrading from CentOS 5.6 to 6.0?
I have not had to go from one major version of CentOS to another so this is

CentOS6.5 Samba 3.6.9 Windows8.1 login possible after 15 minutes after logoff
...ofiles.
Everything is working perfect, except that when user logs off from
Win8.1 client, he is not able to log in for about 15 minutes to any
Win8.1 client at school. After 15 minutes it is possible again.
I do have pretty standard smb.conf, no special tweaks, Samba is PDC,
extra attributes on etx4 active, inherit acls enabled on home shares:

Samba memoeur usage and IPC$

I have a question about memory usage and IPC$ share.
I'am auditing the swap usage of my server because I already have a problem

I see that the smbd process take < 200Mo on swap :
Example :
PID USER PR NI VIRT RES SHR S %CPU %MEM TIME+ COMMAND
24429 lge 15 0 197m 39m 14m S 0.3 1.0 0:15.17 smbd
but some process use more than 200Mo

Live CD boot for KVM guest. How?
Hi,
My host and guest are CentOS 6. The guest is going to be a web server in
production. I am trying to resize (extend) of the base partition of my
guest. But I can of course start the installation of CentOS 6 guest all
over again with a larger image size. However, just for the sake of
better understanding I an trying to solve things not to be end up in a
dead end after some years.
