Segmenting wireless traffic
...ate subnet to my loc network making loc1
(192.168.1.0/24) and loc2 (192.168.0.1/24) with the goal of seperating
my wireless traffic from my wired LAN traffic.
Has anyone had success doing this, or is it still possible to sniff the
traffic of a seperate zone on the same interface with tools like ettercap?

PPTP VPN secure?
Hi all
I have succesfully set up PPTP VPN access to my company using PoPToP/pppd
(thank you Tom for excellent documentation), everything works fine so far.
Problem is security. As I understand it, since PPTP ports trough tunnel are
opened to whole Internet (have to be), access verification is now based only
on username/password combination.
Can level of security be raised with MAC verification?

Dears,
I have two questions
1-Is there a way to export fax tiff file image from .pcap captured file .
In other words i am trying to backup all faxes that are passing on my
network,and export the fax file later on.
Is this feasible and how .
i am using sip protocol and fax protocol is bypass ,G711 i can use T38 if
that will solve the matter.

hi all, i got flooded by these msgs like 1000+ lines, any idea?
my kernel is dated Nov-30 FreeBSD 4.9-stable

Crossbow and UML
...er-mode linux] . last time i was almost killed testing free/swan on a virtual testbed using UML. gosh... matching the root filesystem version with the kernel was the biggest fight...lately had to build my own with mkrootfs :) ... best view of these virtual machines comes when you run a sniffer like ettercap on mother system .... god knows if freesco router project is still alive or not but it was a great help.... anyway guys crossbow seems promising.. will try my hand on it...

Any luck with SLES9 HVM install?
Anyone managed to get a SLES9-SP4 HVM installed? I''ve been going round
in circles for hours with this one.
