smb being blocked by mac filter
I use shorewall 2.0.9 I have a mac filter running on my eth2(wifi) 192.168.0.1 is eth1(loc).
My policy file allows trafic from wifi to loc and loc to wifi. Also fw to wifi and fw to loc.
I also use AllowSMB loc to fw and AllowSMB wifi to fw. Any ideas?

and all packages just get rejected by the eth2_mac chain
i tryed addind just the mac address without the ip and not worked too ...
then in the meantime, i recompiled the kernel, checked everything and
just realized it''s one of two, a shorewall problem or my configuration
of shorewall :)
i added the mac addresses of the bridge''...

Using private & public addresses together i n the Shorewall''s DMZ zone
To rephrase the question, "Can I use masquerading and proxy ARP in the same
zone simultaneously?" It''s not a stupid question--I couldn''t see any reason
why it wouldn''t work, but I had actually try it out to convince myself that
it did (which isn''t a bad thing to do before posting the question to the
list, by the way). In any case, the answer is
