What package to use to calculate odds ratio and the confidence interval?
Hi list,
I am trying to calculate the sensitivity, specificity, and odds ratio(and
confidence interval).
Say, my data looks like this
42.53, 37.56, 40.51, 32.67, 38.19, 81.74, 41.55, 68.94, 59, 63, 54.13,
48.85, 50.46, 51.78
Is there any packages in R that does this? Espeically the odds ratio
confidence interval.

[LLVMdev] trig language-like code generator generator
...cture (chris) doesn't seem to attack the phase
ordering problem. through having independent instruction selection,
instruction scheduling, and register allocation phases faciliate a
modular design, but i believe the phase-coupled code generator
generator high quality code on many architectures. espeically in the
embedded system like a media/dsp processors with very limited
resources and highly respects energy saving.
in which direction llvm team heads?
you (chris) didn't mention the optimization code in #1 - #4, and i
cannot find the optimization code in the step 2 and step 4 mentioned

asterisk across a firewall
Excuse my ignorance but if i have an asterisk in a LAN, and i have
users in their homes/internet (dozens), in order to correctly connect
those users across my firewall, what is the technology that i need to
buy, called?
secure border gateway?
session controller?
secure gateway?
the audiocodes site seems to have many names for the same thing...but
i better ask here and learn before i make a big

[LLVMdev] Phabricator sending empty state change emails for Audit
Hi Manuel,
It's been brought to my attention that my usage of the Phabricator Audit tool to track which commits have been reviewed is causing a large number of (almost) empty emails to be sent to the commit authors and anyone else added to the audit as a reviewer. Presumably there are some state change emails that we haven't blocked yet (e.g. the 'Accept commit' and 'Resign

Everything is in CVS. Noone is currently working on automating the
pattern matching generator process yet. Before doing that, there are a
few changes we want to make to the SelectionDAG interface. In particular,
right now, the selection process basically works like this:
#1.

i don't want to re-invent wheels, and the existing many code generator
generators. i am evaluating many possbile code generation libraries.
at present i give me preferrence to "Prop":
http://www.cs.nyu.edu/leunga/www/prop.html
and it's portable too.
are there any other good library you could recommend?

SIP devices with packet loss tolerance
Greetings list,
Hoping someone might have experience with poorly-performing net connections and which devices work best over them.
One of our clients has a number of employees that work from home, and are given a SIP phone to take with them and hook up to their broadband. For the most part, this works fine, but there are an increasing number where sound quality is poor ("chops" in and
