Xen 3.0.1 on Debian sarge kernel crash on Dual XEON Machine
...p, nousb, noapic, apic=..... with no success.
I thought of an ACPI related problem and updated system bios to latest
bios from January 2006. Nothing helped. If I want to boot to my normal
system after such a crash I''ve to power the machine off (not reboot !)
and erase the BIOS PCI Tables (ESDT Tables) to get it up and running
again. If I don''t do this even the standard kernel crashes while
initalising.
I downloaded latest xenoppix and booted the system off the cd. This
works ! It uses the 2 CPU''s (plus the 2 HT CPU''s), since it is 32-bit
with no PAE extensions...
