Tribes 1.x & Wine
Has anyone ever tried to actually get a tribes server running under wine or another emulator? Just the other day i was setting up a linux counter-strike server. My friend asked me if i would setup a Tribes 1.0 or 1.11 server. I thought linux would be a great way to do it. I was trying to run a headless / dedicated starsiege tribes server (1.0/1.11) I Installed the tribes files (including the

xvm-gate: arrow keys broken in pygrub
...row keys can be used in the pygrub screen. With xVM 3.3-unstable, the arrow keys don''t work for me any more. What I''ve found out so far is that: - gnome-terminal, xterm or dtterm are running with "vt100 application key mode" disabled, that is, the arrow keys send ESC [ A, ESC [ B, ESC [ C and ESC [ D - pygrub is started by xend with $TERM=vt100 The vt100 terminfo entry defines the "vt100 application key mode" sequences for the cursor keys: ESC O A, ESC O B, ESC O C and ESC O D During curses initialization, the vt100 terminfo sequence &quot...

MENU HIDDENKEY help?
Hi, I was hoping you could shed some light in usage of the directive MENU HIDDENKEY in syslinux (extlinux 4.04) The docs say: MENU HIDDENKEY key[,key...] command... So, in my conf I have: MENU HIDDENKEY Esc openelec Where openelec is the label of the boot option I want to run only if Esc is pressed. But pressing Esc on boot has no effect. Default is run. So, do I misunderstand the "command" part of the directive? If so, are there any examples I can learn from? My full conf is here: http:...

Googling, I find <https://rhn.redhat.com/errata/RHBA-2010-0068.html>, and in that, it says (in part): Excerpt: * the Red Hat Enterprise Security Client (ESC) incorrectly identified CAC cards as CoolKey cards, and mistakenly opened the Phone Home dialog after doing so. With this update, CoolKey correctly identifies CAC cards and assigns the correct functionality to them. With this fix, it is still possible to view certificates and diagnostics for CAC c...

comments about 5.00pre10
...n using "ctrl+v" in the boot prompt, there is no space character between the version and the boot mode. Additionally, the main version number is shown twice. For example, "SYSLINUX 5.00 5.00-PRE10CHS" should be: "SYSLINUX 5.00-PRE10 CHS" 2_ Boot to menu.c32, press [ESC] to go to the boot prompt. Pressing [ESC] once again returns back to the menu, as if [ENTER] would had been pressed. IIRC, in 4.06 the second [ESC] would not go back to the menu (meaning, it wouldn't execute the default label). In other words, [ESC] is acting as [ENTER]. 3_ At the boot pr...

Sending signals to current R process from R running under MS Windows (c.f. Esc)

Under MS/Windows, when rattle has initiated some other underlying R command the rattle GUI remains responsive (unlike under GNU/Linux where it is not responsive until the underlying command completes). I can interrupt the running command with a press of the Esc key in the RGui. I want to have a button on the rattle GUI to run an R command to have the same behavior as pressing the Esc key in the RGui. I currently have a button in rattle as an example that will run another R command whilst the original R command is still running. Looking at the C source c...

password problem -- or bug?
A Redhat 6.0 linux server with Samba 2.0.6, Windows 95/98 clients. By accident I just discovered a surprising and quite disappointing password problem on our Samba network. However, if the user has an empty Windows password, he is
