help with push
But at the time the mesa3d file src/gallium/drivers/nouveau/nv30/nv30_screen.c is called and when the various PUSH_DATA begin to be called there is not yet a call to nouveau_pushbuf_space. So it would generate a seg fault in push->curr. Again, sorry for the confusion and thanks for the reply. Awaiting for an answer if possible. Thanks in advance. 2015-11-02 14:44 GMT-03:00 Ilia Mirkin

help with push
Errrr.... are you sure? nv30_screen_create starts with a bunch of stuff init'ing objects, and then does: BEGIN_NV04(push, NV01_SUBC(3D, OBJECT), 1); PUSH_DATA (push, screen->eng3d->handle); And as you can see in nv30_winsys.h: static inline void BEGIN_NV04(struct nouveau_pushbuf *push...

List posting etiquette
Just a tag-on for the thread about list posting etiquette, etc., etc. The following is a link to an excellent (if wordy) how-to-do-it-right instruction manaual replete with links to other treatises on the topic. The entire text of this document is emailed to the mailing list on the 1st of each month. This is the Cadillac of etiquette manuals. http://www.linux-sxs.org/index2.html Enjoy, --

C Compiler for samba1.9.18p1
Where can I get a freeware C compiler for Solaris 2.4 for x86? And how can I perform a very simple test that the compiler works on my machine, before trying it on the samba Makefile? The date and version number - maybe "cc /help"? - would be a start. Jan j.poloniecki@sghms.ac.uk tel: +44 (0)181 725 2795 a.m. (0)181 672 4122 p.m.

strange behaviour of negative binomial
Dear list, I ran into a strange behaviour of the pnbinom function - or maybe I just made a stupid mistake. First thing is that pnbinom seems to be very slow. The other - more interesting one - is that I get two different curves when I plot the estimated density and the density given by pnbinom. Shouldn't it be the same? This is only the case, I think, if I use the parameter size = 1. I

winbind : suspend nightmare
...sing winbind for several years now to integrate my workstations and laptops into a Windows world. My goal is to be able to hand a Linux laptop to an end user and off they trot with everything in place and properly useable. I'm rather close to my goal. Evolution for Exchange, Libre Office for errrr office, Kerberos all over the shop for as much as possible (Evo EWS can do Kerb). autofs with mount.cifs and Kerb for "drive mappings". CUPS can take Kerb auth and supports everything that prints (ta Apple). You can import your AD CA cert to the OpenSSL trust store so LDAPS works proper...

Hello Samba Team ! First at all. It's seems that my problem is NOT (or not only) a Samba Winbind problem. But I need to understand what's happen to send good reports to correct maintainers. What's I'm trying to achieve : ------------------------------------------ Gnome gdm introduced a great feature that suspend the system on logout. This help a lot reducing the electric

Advocating RoR in the enterprise?
Hi folks, I''m looking for advice on how to promote RoR in my workplace. Specifically, I''d like to work out a strategy for promoting development in Rails as a new alternative to our existing technology (the usual suspects... mostly Java/Oracle, .NET, PHP, and a bit of Perl here and there). Some background: I work for a fairly large state environmental agency as a web developer.
