Hello, I would like to introduce myself as the new Google Summer of Code student for this year. My name is Andr? Ericson and I'm an undergraduate student of Computer Science in Brazil. I will be, with the help of Paulo Alcantara (pcacjr) my mentor, working on implementing Multidisk Support for the Syslinux. For those that are not familiar with the time-line of GSoC, we (students) have until May, 21th to prepare...

Ok I have a question. Seen it come and go around the mailling list for a while but never really seen an answer that seems to sort it out. What is needed is some interface from * > Mobile Phone > Mobile Network Service. At this point all the providers in AUS that I have found are charging a Premium Rate for Land Line > Mobile Network services. What I would like to do is be able to

[PATCH 00/12] Multidisk support
...rtition of the first disk. the other accepted syntax is using MBR's 32 bits disk signature so for example: (mbr:0x12345678,2)/foo/bar would address the file /foo/bar at the second partition at the disk that has 0x12345678 as it's signature. The code can be fetched at: git://github.com/aericson/syslinux.git multidisk If I can improve it in anyway, please let me know. Thanks Andre Ericson (11): core: move disklib into core core: initial implementation of fopen with multidisk acess core: add data structure to hold fs_info for all disks/partition core: modify disk cache to work wit...

Dock-n-talk connection to asterisk
...Mar 2005 23:32:36 +1100 From: "Mike Sander" <mike@corporatebankinginternational.com> Subject: Re: [Asterisk-Users] Dock-n-talk connection to asterisk Hi Peter. Look in last weeks (1/3/05) Sydney Morning Herald Tuesday IT liftout. They talk there about GSM gateways. It was made by Ericson I think, for around $1000. It's not meant for computer, rather as a FXO/FXS gateway to plug your house phone in for exactly the purpose you are talking about. Of course, if it is a FXO gateway, I'm sure a RJ cable (possibly crossover) will plug it in to a TD400 Digium card nicely to get wh...

[PULL 0/8] MultiFS suppport for BIOS and EFI
So last week I was wondering if XFS was still working -- even with its last on-disk structure changes -- and it _suprisingly_ worked as expected. Right, now I can finally get rid of GRUB and use Syslinux to boot my Linux on EFI from a rootfs with xfs. Shit, I have two partitions (the first one being the required ESP) so there is no way to access the other partitions since because Syslinux does not

[cfe-dev] [RFC] Open sourcing and contributing TAPI back to the LLVM community
To belatedly second Juergen, yes I think the concept of TBD files is great, and not just useful to the specific XCode situation of proprietary libraries. For example the mapfiles[1] of Illumos are exactly analogous and used not because the libc of Illumos is closed source (it isn't) but rather to ensure comparability across Illumos versions. The libc (shared library) ABI of Illumos is the

> Regardless of any of that, given that TBD files _are_ an integral part of the apple platform, supporting them is certainly a necessity in order to have a working apple linker. So, if making LLD work for Apple/MachO is the justification for adding TBD support to LLVM, that seems self-evidently a reasonable thing to do. On the other hand, it looks like the LLD mach-o code is unmaintained
