e-pub or downloadable xhtml of the manuals?
...samba/docs/man/Samba-HOWTO-Collection/ This document has provided more information to me than I can adequately express, and as masochistic as it sounds, I'd kinda like to pop a copy on my nook and devour it. along with any of the other docs hosted on the samba website. has anyone prepared epubs of the documentation? if not epubs, than at least xhtml files in a zip suitable for use in converting to an epub? If anyone has any of this or knows where I can download it, lemme know, I'll be muchly greatful!

railstutorial.org has epub or mobi version?
I''m considering buying the railstutorial.org video + pdf bundle... however, I''d like to have the ebook in mobi / epub version so I can read it on my Kindle (nicely formatted). RWeka control parameters classifiers interface
Hello, I have some trouble in achieving the desired parametrisation for the weka classifier functions, using the package RWeka. The problem is, that the functions result=classifier(formula, data, subset, na.action, control = Weka_control(mycontrol)) do not seem to be manipulated by the mycontrol- arguments Perhaps this should be resepected via the handlers- argument , but the

alternatives to RColorBrewer?
I've found RColorBrewer useful for its qualitative palettes, but wished that it could generate more than 12 qualitative palettes (e.g. with Set3). Any suggestions for alternative color palette generators that can handle e.g. 18 distinctive colors? (I'm aware of using rainbow(), but this doesn't generate enough distinct colors when the number of palettes is large). Thanks, Andrew

With these code, reader can run the generated code from Cpu0 llvm backend compiler, linker and elf2hex and see how it run on your computer. The pdf and epub is also available in the web. It is a tutorial for llvm backend developer but not for an expert. Proposal - Add xe manpages to xen-org
Xen Community, I have a team of people frantically creating manpages for the xe command and all of it''s 361 subcommands. The initial source documentation is in asciidoc but also saved as Docbook. From docbook we transform to epub, html, manpage and pdf. This is currently being hosted in a subversion server at a Seattle area college and we''d like to move it to the xen-org github so it''s public, can be reviewed, commented on and contributed too. We will also document the additional commands specific to xens...

creating rainbow gradients
Hi, how can I create a rainbow gradient in R? For example, let's say I have a plot of y = x...and I want the plot to go from red -> orange -> yellow -> green -> blue -> etc. Right now, I know how to do something like go from red to blue, using the plotrix library: library(plotrix) redToBlue <-

"Chow Test" for classification and regression trees
Suppose one estimates a classification or regression tree (CART) for one group or one time period; and then estimates a CART for another group or time period. Is there a way to test for a structural change or break across the two groups or between the two time periods, in other words, is there an analogue of a Chow Test for CART? Has anyone ever seen anything like this or have any ideas how one

color of opposite sign values in filled.contour
Dear R-helpers, I'm plotting geophysical data in the form of contours using "filled.contour". The display would be much more effective if the areas with negative values could be color coded by -- say -- "cold colors" in the range of blue to green, and conversely the areas with positive values got plotted with "warm colors", from yellow to red. Right now if I use

color scale mapped to B/W
In an R graphic, I'm using cond.col <- c("green", "yellow", "red") to represent a quantitative variable, where green means 'OK', yellow represents 'warning' and red represents 'danger'.
