Tex fonts in R plots
Hello, R users.
I would like to display the font of Math Mode of MikTex 2.3, WinEdt 5.4
in R plots, e.g. in xlab, ylab or legend.
How can I do that?

Cross-platforms solution to export R graphs
Hello Rusers,
I have worked on a R Wiki page for solutions in exporting R graphs,
especially, the often-asked questions:
- How can I export R graphs in vectorized format (EMF) for inclusion in
MS Word or OpenOffice outside of Windows?
- What is the best solution(s) for post-editing/annotating R graphs.

New Package: pgfSweave
...speed and style of graphics. For speed,
the package provides capabilities for ?caching? graphics generated
with Sweave on top of the caching funcitonality of cacheSweave. For
style the pgfSweave package facilitates the integration of R graphics
with LaTeX reports through the tikzDevice package and eps2pgf utility.
With these tools, figure labels are converted to LaTeX strings so they
match the style of the document and the full range of LaTeX math
symbols/equations are available.
The backbone of pgfSweave is a a new driver for Sweave
(pgfSweaveDriver). The driver provides new chunk options tikz, pg...

Plot dagger symbol in R
Dear all,
I would like to plot the dagger symbol in R (like LaTeX's \dagger).
However, I was unable to do so.
First, I thought maybe dagger actually exists just like the degree
symbol:
plot(0:1,0:1, type="n")
text(x=0.5, y=0.5, labels=expression(degree))
