Errors in strace
I keep getting the following when I do a strace on login processes in dovecot. Are there any issues with these errors:

dovecot 2.0b3 crash with lmtp and DNS based proxy
Hello,
i am trying to proxy a LMTP connection with version 2.0b3
Currently i have the problem when trying to use a named based proxy for
LMTP the process doesn't resolve the hostname and crashes:

I'm having problems in a second domain controller machine. Every time a
restart samba, few time after a samba process starts using almost 100% cpu.
It's a Centos 6.5 x86_64 with the following:

dovecot/auth CPU spikes
Hi All,
I have recently moved by webmail server from a VPS to a hosted dedicated server running Ubuntu 16.04.
Everything is fine except that login is particularly and consistently long (around 4-5 seconds).
I have noticed that the process dovecot/auth seems to eat all of the resources of one of the cores available on the host during login. The authentication backend is a postgres database which

IDLE dropping EXISTS events on mass message arrival

fd=13 is inotify, you'll see large read(13, ... indicating
multiple filenames from inotify. However, only one EXISTS message
got written to the socket.
I've filtered out the gettimeofday syscalls for brevity.
