Epiphany?
Is there an official epiphany rpm for RHEL4/Centos4? I know that in the
release announcements for RHEL4 beta2 epiphany 1.4 was specifically
mentioned as included. But epiphany seems not to be in any of the
standard repos or in dag.
Thanks,

make swfdec a gstreamer backend?
Hi,
I don't know much about gstreamer internals so I'm not sure.. The idea
just appeared in my mind. Is it possible to make swfdec a gstreamer
plugin? Totem then can play swf files. Totem already has a plugin for
Epiphany so we don't have to write another plugin for epiphany. I
don't know how gstreamer handle interative input though.

Compiz bugs?
Hi,
I've been following the list for a few months but this just my first
post to the list. I've just started to use compiz again a few days ago
and I have a few things (probably bugs) here that bugged me a little
bit. I am not sure whether the bugs is in compiz or somewhere else so it
would be nice if someone could confirm them. Here they are:

Indeed, Mozilla Corp. may be the best marketing partner that other Linux
browser projects have right now! ;-)

Adding browsers
Recently, I put CentOS 6.4 on one of the four PCs I keep behind a
KVM switch. I like it a whole lot in most ways, but Fedora has spoiled
me : I install almost every browser I can, and generally keep half a
dozen or more open, mostly with several tens of tabs open. Iow, I use
browsers as I used to use books, back in the Carboniferous when I had a
desk in the stacks.
Are there ways a

Got stuck with PC-rel branching
Hi all,
I'm trying to make an LLVM backend for the Adapteva's Epiphany E16 CPU
(used in Parallella board), using CPU0 and some other backends as examples,
and I've got stuck with branching.
When I'm printing out asm, all branch labels are printed as they should be.
But when I'm trying to generate obj file, I'm getting zeros instead of
PC-related offset in all branch

Sources for extras??
With invaluable help here, I've just gotten 6.0 onto a PC. I went
through the listings in PackageKit, removing things I know I'll never
use; ran yum update; installed Opera; went to the epel, rpmfusion, and
one whose name slips my mind (It's a new name.); enabled them all; and
tried to get a lot of my regular apps :

Wide load/store optimization question
Hi,
I'm trying to write an LLVM backend for Epiphany arch, and I wonder if
someone can give me some advice on how to implement load/store
optimization. The CPU itself is 32-bit, but it supports wider 64-bit loads
and store. So the basic idea is to make use of those by combining narrow
ones.
I've checked how it is done in AArch64 and Hexagon, and my current code is
very close to the

Samba 2.2.4 make fails on Solaris 8 (Ultra Sparc III) using Sun Forte 6-update 2 compilers

two weeks before, i had the same warnings, but no fatal errors and i got the
following answer von Gerald Carter:

Your compiler wants to compile nsswitch/wb_common.c with -Kpic. On Solaris
it has to be compiled with the option -fPic. Normaly the make-script looks

I'm aware of how DANE works.
The only problem is no MTA outside of Postfix implements it.
You can thank the hatred of DNSSEC for that.

could not copy a file bigger than 1GB
Hi,
I have installed Samba 2.2.8 on AIX 5.2 server. I tried to copy a
file (around 106 GB) from win2k server to this AIX box. The "copy"
process was stop when the file was copied up to 1GB. Do you know what
was wrong? Is there anything I need to set on AIX server site in order
to transfer large file?
