Hello all,
I am trying to install Epiphan's ( http://www.epiphan.com/ ) VGA2USB device

VGA Capture
...all PC sitting under the projector that
somehow gets the same VGA as the projector. Some projectors have a VGA out, not

works out,...

can there be only one?
I am gonna get a vga grabber box for capturing presentations (like local user
group meetings and all 72 hours of pycon08) and figure out some way to stream it.
Now to pick one out... the only one I have found is
https://ssl.epiphan.com/products/product.php?pid=1
It seems to do what I want, but I would like to shop around - but so far it is
the only one I have found. Requirements: capture 1024x768 vga signal. (not
S-video, not software, not a cam corder.) output something that can be streamed
to icecast (or converted to s...

using a Laptop as a KVM console?
Hi all,
Has anyone seen something like this before:
I want to use a laptop as a KVM console. Basically when a technician
goes to one of our datacentres, or clients he has to look for a free
LCD, keyboard & mouse to connect to a server (no network access,
reinstall, troubleshoot failed kernel / HDD, etc). And then hopefully
there's an open power socker in that cabinet.
So I'm
