Good Evening I just wanted to ask a question here, is it possible to build a static binary that I could sep to a client machine, and have it do it''s first run to connect to a puppet master? My plan is to use a static binary as a sort of installer for particular systems, as I don''t really want to have to install puppet client on 70 systems by hand! These are all production

I want to use Puppet and Facter on a machine where I don''t have sudo or root access privileges. I won''t be using Puppet for anything that requires that level of access, so I should be OK if I can get it on the box. Any advice on how to proceed? Currently the Facter installer complains that it doesn''t have privileges for /usr/bin/facter. I assume Puppet will have the same
