SoX support
For those of you who want to be able to decode Ogg Vorbis files into other
formats, SoX (the swiss army knife of audio programs) now has Ogg Vorbis
support in CVS. It can read Ogg Vorbis files and export the audio in any
format SoX supports. You can also write Ogg Vorbis with it, but, because of
limitations in the design of SoX, only output at 128kbps is supported.

Help needed with traffic control script.
Hi.
I am having shaping traffic using tc, I have been trying for a very long
time, and I just didn''t get it to work the way I want it.
I will really appriciate it if you experts will have a look at my script
and tell me what I do wrong.
First, I`ll describe my envornment, than my requirements.
I run a small server on Debian etch with kernel version 2.6.7.
the server ip is 10.0.0.2
I have another machine in the lan, its ip is 10.0.0.1
I am connected to the internet via adsl model that acts as a router
(10.0.0.138, I set it to be the gateway for both machines)....

Let's make an assumption:
1) I am a root user on a system.
2) I don't want said system being used as a jumping-off point if either a
user account or the root account is compromised.
Given an unencrypted private key, plus a known_hosts file, plus
bash_history, it's a pretty easy avenue of attack once you're in the front
door. And it's happened before*.
Thus,
