...k cable RJ48 in one side (10P4C) and RS232-DB9 in the other. The cable reads "940-1525A" in the DB9 side. Which is the best setting (driver and options) to connect this UPS to my computer? It seems not to be recognized by a typical apcsmart driver setting. Many thanks Noel Torres er Envite

...PS fail. The immediate culprit is that the driver can't communicate with the UPS, kernel saying that can't claim it. Fixed it with udevadm trigger --action=add --property-match=ID_SERIAL_SHORT=(ups' serial number here) Is there a way to avoid the failure to happen? Thanks Noel er Envite

Hi List, my problem is the following: I use Samba 3.5 with AD password authentification and uid/gid information in local files. Everything seems to work so far, when i create files via samba the created files have correct user/group information on linux filesystem level (so i think id mapping works basicly).
