Distributed file system suggestion/ctdb integration
...and a use of the system with
mostly small files.
Also a suggestion of the "best" underlying local FS for such a context
would be great too. We would prefer if possible a vm environment (we
would be open to any open source vm environment).

bind9 refuses to start -> zone has no NS records
...nother DC where bind9 is running. I copied /etc/bind/named.conf.options and /etc/bind/named.conf.local
I also double checked permissions in /var/lib/samba/bind-dns and /var/lib/samba/private
Any tips are welcome. How can I start bind9 or where should I look for errors?

Filled up file system and glusterd not working anymore. To probe or not to probe?
...we want to avoid is that this happens the other
way around.
So in brief the question is if in our situation probing is too risky and
we should try other methods (removing-adding brick) or anything that you
might want to suggest from your experience.
