VCPU cores & sockets
Before I get to entrenched in the ACPI code - I thought I''d ping the
community to make sure nobody else has investigated this already -
Can we present cores vs sockets for guest VCPUs?
Right now, the number of total processors can be specified, but can we
specify cores per socket?
I see this potentially being an hvmloader function, as part of its acpi
build code.

Understanding glm family documentation: dev.resids
Hi all
Consider the family function, as used by glm. The help page says the value of the family object is a list, one element of which is the following:
dev.resids function giving the deviance residuals as a function of (y, mu, wt).
But reading any of the family functions (eg poisson) shows that dev.resids is a function that computes the *square* of the deviance residuals (at least, by

bad bignum encoding for curve25519-sha256@libssh.org
Hi,
So I screwed up when writing the support for the curve25519 KEX method
that doesn't depend on OpenSSL's BIGNUM type - a bug in my code left
leading zero bytes where they should have been skipped. The impact of
this is that OpenSSH 6.5 and 6.6 will fail during key exchange with a
peer that implements curve25519-sha256 at libssh.org properly about 0.2%
of the time (one in every 512ish

they are the ideal, wheras in an ideal world something like ogg theora

[PATCH v5 04/10] vring: Introduce vring_use_dma_api()
...Could we have an arch_vring_eschew_dma_api(dev) function which the
affected architectures could provide (as a prelude to fixing it so that
the DMA API does the right thing for *itself*)?
It would be functionally equivalent, but it would help to push the
workarounds to the right place ? rather than entrenching them for ever
in tricky "OMG we need to audit what all the architectures do... let's
not touch it!" code.

This has _nothing_ to do with Microsoft possibly buying Red Hat.
People who even suggest this only expose their *0* understanding of business.
Microsoft has an alliance with Sun.
Why?

Question regarding significance of a covariate in a coxme survival
Using a p-value to make any kind of decision is questionable to begin
with, and especially unreliable in choosing covariates in regression.
Old studies, e.g. by Walls and Weeks and by Bendel and Afifi, have shown
that if predictive ability is the criterion of interest and one wishes
to use p-values for deciding whether to include a covariate, one should
set the p-value bar very large, at 0.25 and

[OT] As service network suggestion
Greetings,
I tried to throw this idea open in the ILUG-BOM group. some discussion
took place.
I was wondering if Centos can have such support network that can take
care of all the "Centos support for money".discussions/decisions.
Thanks for current and further indulgence.
