timestamping / latency
Hi there,
for a streaming application developed for a project at the Society for
Arts and Technology Montreal, Canada, we would need to know the exact
delay of our ogg/vorbis streams.
It seems there are several factors that make up the total delay I get.
Is there a way to find out how large the delay introduced by the encoder
and decoder is? Or in other words, how many unprocessed samples

A quesetion regarding ices2.
Hello everyone!
Thank you for all the improvements in the icecast server and different clients.
After playing with some php, I am back to were I need to be. But I have one
odd little problem.
I am using ices-2.0-beta2-20030827 and when I use the option to save the file
to the local harddrive to later allow users to download it, I have an odd
problem.

segmentation fault on lost packets
Somewhere in the new packet-loss concealment code, there is a bug. I
tried encoding a 44100-hz stereo file and it decodes just fine, but if I
try it with packet loss, I get a segmentation fault. If you want to
see the file, I can put it up somewhere publicly accessible. If
someone here can't work on it, I'll be back on my home computer in a
few days, so I'll work on it then.

Updated Vorbis RTP I-D
Hi all,
Apologies in advance, this email is quite long.
I've prepared an updated Vorbis RTP Internet Draft, which is a
continuation of draft-moffitt-vorbis-rtp-00.txt which can be found
below.
If this new draft gets the ok I'd like to submit this to the AVT WG
later this week.
There are a number of changes over the original I-D, notably the
changing of the M bit function in the RTP
