Hai To ALL!!
Hello All,
   
  I am kadhiravan New to this list.
   
  Just I have installed icecast2/ices2 in my system..
   
  Realy it is working fine. So ready for enhanement. So i came out with question.
   
  1.How to run diff playlist same time.
  2.How to enable jumping to next song for clients.
  3.Is it possible to set more mount points.

Welcome kadhiravan,
Good questions. I'm not a guru and may be wrong, but here's my understanding
of the answers:
1. You able to stream two seperate playlists by running two seperate
instances of icecast2/ices2 each with there own distinct config files,
playlists and mountpoints.
2. As your stream is a broadcast and not on-demand playback, I'm not sure if
it's possible for

  I tried with diff playlist and config file for each instance of ices process. It is working..
   
  Initially it is support only 2 instance, after i changed the source directive in the icecast.xml file it is supporting more than the default one.
   
  .Fine..
   
  Now as Thomas to;d i downloaded the tunequeue tar file from sourceforge.
  But According to the INSTALL file

Rsync of LVM Snapshots copies whole file
Hello, anybody has a clue why this happens?
The scenario:
Each night I create LVM snapshot of my volume which contains some 
virtual disk images (VirtualBox VDIs). Then I rsync the content of one 
of the snapshot directories to a backup server. Each file size is 
between 1.3 GB and 6GB.
I run the following commmand:
sudo -u rsyncbackup rsync -avzP --exclude-from 
/home/rsyncbackup/excludefile -e
