Fix AFS and Kerberos interaction
Hello,
I going to use ssh with Kerberos V5 support along with support for AFS. I
don't want to use Kerberos V4 or AFS token passing. The only thing I need
from AFS is creating an AFS token (using appropriate function from krb5 API)
after user's authentication. It seems to me that such scenario is not much
supported by the current code. Rather it is assumed only Kerberos 4 will be
used

[PATCH trivial] include: uapi: standard all files' macro prefix and suffix, excluding "linux/" sub-directory
For "include/uapi/*", excluding "linux/" sub-directory, let all files'
macro prefix match the standard format, and give related stand comments
for their macro suffix.
The related standard format is:
"_SUBDIRNAME_SUBDIRNAME[_SUBDIRNAME]_FILENAME" (1st _SUBDIRNAME is _UAPI), and use '_' instead of '.' and '-'.

disable features
this (uncomplete) patch makes various features compile time
options and saves up to 24K in the resulting
ssh/sshd binaries. i don't know whether this
should be added to the CVS since it makes
the code less readable.
perhaps WITH_COMPRESSION should be added, since
it removes the dependency on libz

[Release-testers] 5.0.1-rc2 has been tagged
Zig tests using Debug build of 5.0.1rc2 hit this bug:
https://bugs.llvm.org/show_bug.cgi?id=34452
I suppose the fix has not been backported to 5.0.1.
So I created a Release build of 5.0.1rc2 and all zig tests pass, with the
following patches:

Very minor feature request
Hello,
I'd suggest a way to get to know the "capabilities" of a compiled Dovecot.
The background is that I've run the sequence
./configure --with-ldap && make && make install
twice, all three commands tell me that all is fine (ldap is listed in the
modules), but still dovecot told me that ldap is no Usedb module.
A "make clean" before solved the

Problem with UTMP recording
Hello to all!
I have problem with OpenSSH 1.2.1pre18 on Linux (kernel 2.2.13,
distribution Slackware 4.0). When someone login using ssh, there is no way
to see his presentance with some 'standard' tools (finger, who, w,
users...). Of course, his proccesses are in ps, and so. I've tried to see
/etc/utmp using vi, and there is some entry, but maybe invalid, or
something.

[PATCH 00/24] drm: add extern C guard for the UAPI headers
Hi all,
As some of you may know there some subtle distinction between C and C++
structs, thus one should wrap/annotate them roughly like below.
...
#if defined(__cplusplus)
extern "C" {
#endif
struct foo {
int bar;
...
};
...
#if defined(__cplusplus)
}
#endif
In order to work around the lack of these users can wrap the header
inclusion in the same way. For example:

[LLVMdev] [PATCH] Capability of Win32.DLL with ENABLE_SHARED
Good summer, all!
This patch enables ENABLE_SHARED=1 to build DLL based LLVM toolchain.
I have checked this on Cygwin-1.5, Cygwin-1.7, mingw(msysgit) and
mingw-cross-fedora12.
I can separate this patch into some parts; cleanups, adding
definitions and adding rules.
Any feedbacks are welcome.
Have fun!
...Takumi
* Pros
- reduction of linking time of toolchain.
- capability of -load

[PATCH 0/3] Split up pv-ops
Paravirt ops is currently only capable of either replacing a lot of Linux
internal code or none at all. The are users that don't need all of the
possibilities pv-ops delivers though.
On KVM for example we're perfectly fine not using the PV MMU, thus not
touching any MMU code. That way we don't have to improve pv-ops to become
fast, we just don't compile the MMU parts in!

Privilege separation
Hello!
Please consider including the attached patch in the next release. It
allows one to drop privilege separation code while building openssh by using
'--disable-privsep' switch of configure script. If one doesn't use privilege
separation at all, why don't simply allow him to drop privilege separation
support completely?

IRIX cleanup.
Can I get someone from the IRIX group to apply this patch to the
3.0.2pX release and reconfigure/compile. I'm trying to clean out
do_child() in perparation of a larger patch to that part of the code.
Also if someone could give me the hint for the right compiler magic
to wrap the code in instead of what I'm doing now. I'd be thankful.
Thanks

[RFC PATCHv1] armv7: celt_pitch_xcorr: Introduce ARM neon intrinsics
Optimize celt_pitch_xcorr function (for floating point)
using ARM NEON intrinsics for SoCs that have NEON VFP unit.
As initial step, targeting ARMv7 NEON (VFP3+) based SoCs.
To enable this optimization, use --enable-arm-neon-intrinsics
configure option. This flag is not enabled by default.
Compile time and runtime checks are also supported to make sure
this optimization is only enabled when the
