Dear all, this is using debian stretch and Louis' 4.8.11 packages. I am trying to export a keytab, and even for a UPN, samba does not export the AES keys. First thing - I'd like to say a big "THANK YOU" to the developers. I just upgraded to samba-3.0.23 and I've noticed an alarming issue with respect to my configuration. I've been using the built-in keytab management and it looks like the updated code no longer creates the userPrincipal in Active Directory. I am able to get a kerberos ticket with kinit. When I try to net ads join, it seems to loop. In running net ads join in -d 10, I found that it tries enctypes 18,17,16,and 2 and then repeats, over and over. It does not seem to work on any of these.
