R API for C/C++ initialisation issue appears with update to R.3.5
...not registered*" for any command related to the
graphics package.
I made a ticket on stackoverflow about it: https://stackoverflow.com/
questions/51242993/difference-between-r-3-4-4-and-r-3-5-1-in-r-api-for-c
But nobody could explain why so far. And after reducing my code further, I
am now enclined to think this is actually a bug.
The code provided in stackOverflow is already reduced, but not minimal yet.
Since then, I reduced it further to really ensure that it was not an
interference from anything around it. So I removed the GUI and the
callbacks.

kate and W3C timed text
Hi ogg.k,
I've just been asked what the difference was between Kate and the W3C
timed text format (http://www.w3.org/AudioVideo/TT/) and whether there

Hardcoded krb reference in ports/postfix
...- my /usr/lib/libkrb.a stems from the 4.2-RELEASE cd install I started
this comp with (it's dated Nov 2000) and thus hasn't been updated since and
any linkage with it, results in undefined des(3) references.
Since sysutils/libchk doesn't report the libs as unreferenced, I'm not
enclined to throw it out just yet, so a knob would be welcome.
