Apple's SSH x OpenSSH (brew) x CTK x Security Key types
Hi,
What I was trying to do (apart from toying with stuff) was to get a realiable, single, portable/importable credential that would be universally available whenever I need it but in normal operation would be either stored in or wrapped by Secure Enclave (this means EC keys), instead of provisioning 5 resident FIDO keys, one Secretive SE-wrapper key and a backup key. (I know, I could use

Re: Poor sound quality on anything other than "emulation&qu
Hello everyone, my first post here :)
I know this is an old thread but is similar with my problem.
IMHO the sound card type is not relevant because I'm having the same issue on every PC and card I've tried so far, so I'll skip that.
At the moment I'm playing "Enclave" using wine 1.1.43 compiled from source on PCLinuxOS and Mandriva, and the behavior is the same no

[OT] "plot y against x"
Hi Folks,
I'd be grateful for some views on the following.
When I say "plot y against x" I mean that y is on the vertical
axis and x is on the horizontal axis. I acquired this usage so
long ago that I can no longer remember how I acquired it, and
therefore can not cite my "authority" for my usage. There can
also be an implication that y is a function of x (or y is a

FW: How to specify axis interval unit...
Dear Duncan Murdoch:
Thanks for your tips. By the way, I think I didn't mentioned my question
very clear. What I mean to say is that, in Excel one could decide upon the
axis interval unit. Please see the attached file. Likewise, is it possible
in R...?
Regards,
Prasanth.

Living without fdpass / SCM_RIGHTS
Hello everyone,
I wanted to run Dovecot inside Gramine [1]. Gramine is a tool to let
normal Linux binaries run with the help of the Intel Software Guard
Extensions (SGX) technology [2] in a secure enclave to which the
operating system doesn't have an access to.
Most parts of Dovecot now run fine, however, Dovecot uses the SCM_RIGHTS
flag for the sendmsg system call to exchange file

R graph with values incorporated
Dear All:
Greetings!
By the way, is it possible to have a graph (say line graph) that shows
"values" as well (say y-axis values within the graph)? One could do it in
excel. I am just wondering whether it is possible with R!
Thanks in advance,

on NMDS graphics
Hi,
I have used Vegan to construct an NMDS ordination plot. I plotted sites of
three forest types with the site number in it. My reviewer has asked me to
use different symbols for each of the forest types.
Can anyone send me how I can do this in R in simple steps. I have used the
options like ordiplot, sel and pl syntaxes that are not working for the
question that I asked for.
Best,
Sinu

Error while adding legends to xyplot
Dear All:
Greetings!
I am able to produce an "xyplot" in R; But I am not able to put multiple
legends on it! So for that matter, I have saved the "xyplot" and reproduced
the same using the simple "plot" option. Then using the "legend" option I
successfully placed the require text and its corresponding value over it.
Now, when I try to copy it as a

Confused with an error message related to "plotrix" library in the newer versions of R.
Dear R Users,
Greetings!
I am confused with an error message related to "plotrix" library in the
newer versions of R.
I used to run an R script without fail in the earlier versions (R 2.8.1) of
R; but the same script is now throwing up an error message in the newer
versions (Now I have R 2.13.0 & R 2.14.0).
Herewith I am furnishing the same code for your perusal. It would

If free space on a drive is available at time of installation, CentOS will let you install itself into it, and it will even offer to put its boot

Easy. I terms of materials I have been unable to find good books that
introduce users to R from the perspective of someone familiar only
with packages like SPSS or STATA, or not familiar with statistics
packages at all. Even introduction texts use jargon
