New Directshow filters release...
I just updated the directshow package (0.60.7043)...
It now includes an encoder filter for theora which accepts either YV12 or
YUY2 input. It also includes the encoders for speex and vorbis and a mux
filter... you can;
* Find a theora encoding with directshow how-to at
www.illiminable.com/ogg/enc_theora_graphedit.html
* Get the binaries from www.illiminable.com/ogg/
* Find the source in subversion at http://svn.xiph.org/trunk/oggdsf revision
7043 is the source that built those binaries.

matrox rt.x100
Hi,
I got a Matrox RT.X100 Pro capture card to make a live video streaming
with it. The concert to be streamed will be on Saturday...
I have a Linux-based server running Icecast 2.3, so I need to make this
computer with the Matrox card to work with the Icecast server. I'd
prefer Ogg Theora.
Unfortunately there's no Linux support for this card, so the only choice
I have is Windows XP.

OGG/OGM media container
Hi all,
Xiph aims at developing open-standards media formats. Though xiph.org
tells about vorbis/theora/flac/speex, nothing is mentioned about container
to use (that is ogg/ogm). I have a few questions
Is there a difference between ogg and ogm? I guess its only the extension
that is different and everything else is same.
Some tools (like ogmtools) are available to create ogm files. What is
