Slow file writes to server
I am running a Fedora 2 machine with Samba 3.0.7. I am using LDAP to
store the user info. Everything is from stock rpms. I am using domain
logins for my users.
Since 3.0.6, whenever someone tries to write a file to the server, it is
extremely slow. It doesn't matter whether it's a Win XP sp1, sp2 or
Win2000 client but for some reason, my computer didn't have this problem.

Windows 2K and Windows XP client I'm trying to achieve very high speed
single file throughput over GigE from the Windows client using either
open/write or CreateFile/ReadFile APIs. I'd rather not venture into
