[Possible spam] New project - any volunteers?
Greetings! (and apologies upfront for any duplication as a result of my cross-posting)
It''s been five weeks now since I began working with RoR. My experience has been incredibly positive. So much so that I''m emboldened to undertake a project I''d previously concluded I no longer had the technical chops to even _start_. lattice + plotmath: how to get a variable in bold face?
Dear all,
How can I get a bold "1000" in the title? I would like to use a variable (as opposed to putting in "1000" directly).
library(lattice)
N <- 1000
xyplot(0~0, xlab.top=list(label=as.expression(bquote(bold("foo" ~ .(N) ~ "bar"))), font=2, cex=1.2))
## => "font=2" is ignored (of course)

Setting the domain is not part of the hack, but it makes it
easy to see that it worked. You refresh the user status
page, if you see the domain change to foo, you can then go
to the admin page and login with 123456.
Emboldened by the easy solution, I went to a local store,
bought a PAP2 (sold for use with Vonage), and hooked it up
on an isolated LAN. First, I tried "reset" from the IVR

Writing responses to the R-Help list
A while back Gabor Grothendieck suggested that I try
