Can asterisk support using different ip for rtp?
Currently, RTP IP have to be the same as SIP IP. But, SIP RFC allows RTP to use different IP as SIP ip. Is there any way to configure it? GUI or CLI? or , will we support it in future? Thanks. -- Rgds, -- Rgds, Hans Yin Web: homeofhans.homeip.net Email: hansyin at gmail.com MSN: hansyin at hotmail.com Skype: hans_yin_vancouver

contour lines on persp plot
Hello folks, I am a beginner R user. I have been able to make a 3D surface plot using 'persp'. The surface is made by a grid of lines emanating perpendicularly from each of the x and y axes at regular intervals. I can get rid of that grid by setting 'border=NA'. Can anyone suggest some ways to replace the grid with contour lines, to create a 3-dimensional contour map? Thanks for any help. Here is an example of what I have so fa...

Silence suppression on SIP calls generated from Asterisk?
Let's say that I have a call coming in to Asterisk through a TDM400P and going out through SIP to someone on the Internet. Is there any configuration option that would allow me to do silence suppression on the RTP stream generated by Asterisk on behalf of the TDM400P connected user? SIP phones allow me to do this easily, but I'd like to be able to conserve upstream bandwidth on calls that

MusicOnHold (MOH) silent on BudgeTone-100 only.
I have the MusicOnHold feature working great when called from ATA-186 extensions. It's pretty cool. However, when I call from a BudgeTone-100 phone, no music is heard -- instead it continues the ringing feedback and acts like the call is unanswered. At the same time, I can call from (multiple) ATA-186 extensions and hear music as long as I like. How can I debug this? As far as I can tell,

NAT & tc filter addresses
...after NATing? My real interest is in basic understanding first, and then solving a real problem second. Example: Firewall Public NIC 123.123.123.1 Firewall Private NIC 192.168.168.1 Dedicated Video Conferencing equipment @ 192.168.168.100 I''d like to write a rule that says any traffic emanating from the private .100 box gets 128kbit of bandwidth out of a T1''s total 1.55mbit as the traffic heads out on to the Internet to find the other end of the Video Conference. The shaping occurs on the Public NIC, but the only address I have to work with is a private address. By time the...

MemorySSA question
Hi, I am new to MemorySSA and wanted to understand its capabilities. Hence I wrote the following program (test.c): int N; void test(int *restrict a, int *restrict b, int *restrict c, int *restrict d, int *restrict e) { int i; for (i = 0; i < N; i = i + 5) { a[i] = b[i] + c[i]; } for (i = 0; i < N - 5; i = i + 5) { e[i] = a[i] * d[i]; } } I compiled this program using

Windows XP changes IP of Samba to outside port!
...access denied" because it was trying to access port 138 through the firewall! Of course, port 138 is blocked to the outside world. I noticed that there had been quite a number of IP packets bouncing off the firewall rule that blocked 138. Hmmmm... So, I added a rule that says that packets emanating from our outside IPs (inside addresses would be NAT'd to the outside IPs) can be sent to port 138 on the Samba box and Voila! Instant printing! The packets are apparently going to the Samba server, being NAT'd to the outside interface and now they can come back in on port 138 and it wo...
