RFC: Add a preprocessor to yaml2obj (and other YAML tools)
?The idea itself is indeed good.
Regarding to escaping: I think we should have it.
Imagine the following example (I've took it from D73828).
--- !ELF
FileHeader:
Class: ELFCLASS[[BITS]]
Data: ELFDATA2LSB
Type: ET_EXEC
Machine: EM_386
# RUN: yaml2obj %s --docnum=4 -D BITS=32 -o %t-32bit.o
# RUN: yaml2obj %s --docnum=4 -D BITS=64 -o %t-64bit.o
Without escaping it would be:
Class: ELFCLASSBITS
What does not look so clear as a version with escaping IMO.
Be...

RFC: Add a preprocessor to yaml2obj (and other YAML tools)
I am adding -D k=v to yaml2obj, similar to clang -D. This makes it easy
to generate {32-bit,64-bit} x {big-endian,little-endian} tests.

[lld] Has anybody ever run into the Solaris linker before?
...).
The basic layout seems to be:
http://src.illumos.org/source/xref/illumos-gate/usr/src/cmd/
sgs/ld/common/ld.c
This is where `main` is.
The actual linker has a "main in a library" type interface that is called
into from main() by:
718 /* Call the libld entry point for the specified ELFCLASS */
719 if (class == ELFCLASS64)
720 return (ld64_main(argc, argv, mach));
721 else
722 return (ld32_main(argc, argv, mach));
The rest of the code is in "libld". The header is here:
http://src.illumos.org/source/xref/illumos-gate/usr/src/cmd/
sgs/include/libld.h
There seems to be a huge...

LDAP and dovecot
At my company I have users who are now becoming remote and using their mobile devices for email. I use Solaris 10 10/09 s10x_u8wos_08a X86 as an operating system and I now need a more secure email solution than the generic sendmail / imap solution.
I want to use dovecot and postfix because I have read good reports on these products for ease of setup and use. I need to use both with SSL

[makedumpfile] extract vmcoreinfo from /proc/vmcore for Xen
Hi,
--- background ----------------------------------------------------
* what the makedumpfile is:
To shorten the size of the dumpfile and the time of creating the
dumpfile, makedumpfile copies only the necessary pages for analysis
to the dumpfile from /proc/vmcore. You can specify the kind of
unnecessary pages with dump_level. If you want to shorten the size
further, enable the

[PATCH 0/5] dump-core take 2:
The following dump-core patches changes its format into ELF,
adds PFN-GMFN table, HVM support, and adds experimental IA64 support.
- ELF format
Program header and note section are adopted.
- HVM domain support
To know the memory area to dump, XENMEM_set_memory_map is added.
XENMEM_memory_map hypercall is for current domain, so new one is created.
and hvm domain builder tell xen its
