ggplot2: labels and breaks order does not match and I can't use scale_fill_identity
Hi, I'm plotting a bar chart like this: ggplot() + geom_bar(data=res,aes(fill=f1,x=f2,y=y),stat="identity",position="dodge") f1 contains quite a few levels and the plot is really quite difficult to read when the order of bars on the graph and on the legend does not match. This problem has been discussed recently here:

Windows binary for R 1.6.1 FIXED
To Windows R users: The binary build of R that I uploaded on Tuesday contained errors in the compiled HTML help files and some of the PDF versions of the manuals. In particular, the index was missing from the CHM files, and the table of contents was missing from at least one of the manuals. I've since found the error in my setup, and have rebuilt the distribution. I uploaded it to CRAN

ICC for Binary data
Hello R users: I am fairly new to R and am trying to figure out how to compute an intraclass correlation (ICC) and/or design effect for binary data? More specifically, I am trying to determine the amount of clustering in a data set - that is, whether certain treatment programs tend to work with more or less severe clients. The outcome variable is dichotomous (low severity / high severity)

ggplo2: x_discrete labels size/direction
Hi everyone, I've got quite a few labels along the x axis and ggplot2 basically just crams them on top of each other. Is it possible to reduce the font size and/or text direction? Stretching the "windows" device window manually also helps, but I found that setting the parameters for the pdf device (where my scripts should print the data), such as paper="a4r" just results

Logistic regression model selection with overdispersed/autocorrelated data
I am creating habitat selection models for caribou and other species with data collected from GPS collars. In my current situation the radio-collars recorded the locations of 30 caribou every 6 hours. I am then comparing resources used at caribou locations to random locations using logistic regression (standard habitat analysis). The data is therefore highly autocorrelated and this causes Type

question about AIC
Please, forgive my ignorance on statistics, but I have a rather simple question concerning AIC. Small values of AIC mean good fit of the model. How about negative values of AIC? Is a model with AIC=0.5 considered to have better fit than a model with AIC=-500? I couldn't find anything explaining this in the documentation or any elementary statistics textbook that I have at my disposal. Thanks
