CUPS/NFS
Is there anyway to remove CUPS and NFS on the system, I'd like to stop these
services, close the ports, and uninstall the software as I don't use NFS for
anything on my system, and for sure don't use printing on the server.

WINS and ppp.
Another not totally unrelated problem.
I have a win95 client on a local net with a linux box
serving it through samba. This win95 client should dial
a NT box up every once in a while to access a database
through odbc, and even though it connects and authenticates,
setting the correct routes, it doesn't actually see the
NT server's workgroup.
Is this a WINS problem? Shouldn't the

Kernel Panic on New Kernel Package
Hey all,
I have a P4 2.4 GHz CPU (hyper threading) and have been using the
2.4.21-20.EL.c0smp kernel and it works perfectly.
I installed the new kernel-smp (2.4.21-20.0.1.EL) kernel and it installed
flawlessly. However, every time I boot I get a kernel panic and I must
reboot to the older kernel.
The error I am getting is: (it seems to be failing on jbd.o and ext3.o)
