More Logistic Regression Tools?
...'d type
odds.ratios(fit)
and get:
Coefficient Odds ratio 95% CI
XXX 5.2 1.5 7.2
etc.
(2) I'd like to compute goodness-of-fit statistics for my fit
(Hosmer-Lemeshow, Pearson, etc.). I didn't see a package that
did this. Have I missed one?
Thanks,

Reliability analysis and Laplace factor functions
Is there some package out there that implements functions
for reliability analysis, especially for software reliability?
In particular, I'm looking for:
* Laplace factor (Cox & Lewis 1978)
* Goel-Okumoto fitting
Thanks in advance,

Coxph and loglik converged before variable X
...e this kind of warning and just pay attention to
predictors which produce significant p values?
2. In the specific case of stepAIC, can I ignore this warning and trust
that stepAIC will remove predictors that aren't useful contributors
to the model.
Thanks in advance for any help.

glm and lrm disagree with zero table cells
...Null deviance: 230.90 on 326 degrees of freedom
Residual deviance: 224.88 on 323 degrees of freedom
AIC: 232.88
Number of Fisher Scoring iterations: 4
So, my question here is: is this normal behavior? If it
is, perhaps someone could speculate on why the results are
different.
Thanks,

coxph diagnostics plot for shape of hazard function?
...it safe to use the coxph diagnostic plot for this purpose?
I did try heuristically subtracting out the background and then fitting a spline
using locfit as described in the MASS supplement, but this seemed a little more
ad hoc than I was hoping for something more principled.
Thanks in advance.

Synchronizing to multiple locations on a single destination serve r
Hi all.
This has been bugging me for quite some time and I haven't found a solution
yet. I was wondering
if anyone has any experience with similar scenarios or/and can tell me how
this process can be
optimized.
We use rsync to synchronize JAR libraries on our remote server. The catch
here is, that the
libraries must go in multiple locations (and not all the locations have all
