RAID1 over IP?
I asksed about this in November last year but got on response. Anyone
have any ideas now?
Does anyone here have any experience with using KVM/libvirt with RAID1
over IP/DRBD or other HA solution?
I'm trying to figure out the hardware configuration I would need to be
able to survive a failure or planned shutdown of any one unit in a
virtualization cluster.

Full documentation for virsh?
Hello,
Does anyone know where full documentation for virsh can be found? Or if
the there are any plans to update the man page?
The man page lists far fewer commands than virsh lists from its
interactive mode when you type help.
I noticed this when I was trying to figure out the difference between
pool-destroy, and pool-delete. The help entries in the virsh shell are not
very informative:

Improving help in R
Hello R people
I always wander what other people say about the R help. Finally after some years of using, I decided that it is probably time to try to do something about it, because the feeling of gritting teeth does not go away with years of usage. :) Moreover, I think it is one of the few things where R does not kick asses to the other statistical softwares. So, to the point:
I get the feeling

Problem in plm package
Hello everyone,
I am working with plm package and I have problem with random and within
models, which are giving errors which says "empty model". However, the model
is not empty. In the source code for plm.fit, where the error originates it
says something like (writing from the top of my head...)
X <- model.matrix(formula,data, lhs=1,...)
if (ncol(X) == 0) stop("empty

File Locking and MS Access
How do I allow two or more users access to the same File at the same time.
I've been using a Windows 98 server with a Microsoft Access 97
database. Every user on the network can access the database at the same
time and read & write to it as long as they aren't using the same
record. Linux and Samba won't let me do this.
I'm using Linux 7.3 and Samba 2.2.7a

using shared storage with libvirt/KVM?
Hello,
I've spent a few days googling and reading documentation, but I'm looking
for clarification and advise on setting up KVM/libvirt with shared
storage.
I have 2 (for now) Ubuntu Karmic systems with KVM/virsh/virt-manager set
up and running.
I have a storage server that can do NFS/iSCSI/samba/ etc.
I am trying to figure out the best way to set things up so that I can run

nouveau running 2D on a 9800GTX from git master
Finally got around to testing the git masters of xorg, mesa, drm and
nouveau running together. The mesa gallium3d driver failed to build
until I manually added dri2 to the GALLIUM_STATE_TRACKERS_DIRS line in
the configs/autoconf file to force libdri2drm.a to build.
I'm not encountering any issues from the testing I've done so far
(except that glxgears just draws black).
On startup I do
