POS Terminals
Hello List -
I've got a question regarding POS terminal transactions (credit card
machines, ATM, etc...).
Currently we setup customers in the following manner:
Customer Location --> Data T1 --> DataCenter -> PSTN Termination
We are currently using Mediatrix gear for fax transmissions from the
customer location, but they don't seem to handle POS modem sales very well.

Asterisk and Credit Card Machines
I had CC readers going over the internet (with pings over 80ms)
connected to Linksys PAP2.
It was only successful once every 3 attempts.
I had 100% reliability when it was connected on LAN.
Timing is an issue, if you doing everything on LAN it should not be a
problem. Just make sure you use G.711 protocol.

TDM13B - FXO ports not seeing incoming calls
I seem to have tripped over a problem that just seems plain weird to
me...
I have the TDM card with 1 FXS and 3 FXO interfaces.
The FXS connects to a modem and EFTPOS terminal, which is working fine.
The 3 FXO ports are connecting to another PBX as internal extensions.
Usually, everything works fine, however, yesterday incoming calls
stopped working. When an extension on the PBX calls one of the three
extensions, it just rings out, with absolutely no output on...
