Hi!
I just installed R on my computer, and I don't manage to run the function acf (autocovariance and autocorrelation function). It says me that this function is unknown. However, the standard functions like cos or read.table are OK. Can someone help me please?
Thanks a lot.

Cent0S 4.3 - Athlon x86_64 - Load issue
Hi
I have got 8 Sun x4100's and i have got the following on there
Linux xxxxxx04 2.6.9-34.0.2.ELsmp #1 SMP Fri Jun 30 10:32:04 EDT 2006
x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
I have found an issue where every hour the load rises to 1 sits there
for nearly an hour and then drops to 0 again (these boxes are not
currently being used)
Has anyone seen this before or know perhaps why this may happen?

Modem USB 3G
Hi,
I'm trying to install a USB 3G modem, a HUAWEI E220, but when I run
# comgt -d /dev/ttyUSB0
I get the error:
"[root at deckard files]# comgt -d /dev/ttyUSB0
comgt 19:12:30 -> -- Error Report --
comgt 19:12:30 -> ----> ^
comgt 19:12:30 -> Error @74, line 4, Could not write to COM device. (1)"
I've google about it, but find anything useful.

FW: Logwatch for XXXXXXX.kd4efm.org (Linux)
...uess I could ask on that issue as well.
I am not worried about the NAMED error, this is something that
happens due to one of the services that is installed on the box,
as it is HAM RADIO related only.
Any feedback? I will be looking for it...
some items will be X'ed for protection reasons.

Support for ultra-high sample rates?
Isn't the FLAC encoder 'tuned' for the compression of audio data at
common sample rates anyway? Does it make sense to use FLAC to compress
arbitrary analog data at very high sample rates as opposed to other
general purpose compression algorithms?
