[PATCH] PCI: add prefetch quirk to work around Asus/Nvidia suspend issues
...rupt: pin A routed to IRQ 133
Region 0: Memory at ee000000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=16M]
Region 1: Memory at d0000000 (64-bit, prefetchable) [size=256M]
Region 3: Memory at e0000000 (64-bit, prefetchable) [size=32M]
Region 5: I/O ports at e000 [size=128]
Expansion ROM at ef000000 [disabled] [size=512K]
Region 0, 1, 3 and the expansion ROM are all included in the mtrr region reg00.
The magic register that we write to workaround the issue is in PCI
bridge config space - not in a BAR.
Thanks
Daniel

[LLD] Writing thunks before the corresponding section
Hi,
MIPS LA25 thunk is used to call PIC function from non-PIC code.
Usually it contains three instructions:
lui $25, %hi(func)
addiu $25, $25, %lo(func)
j func
We can write such thunk in an arbitrary place of the generated file.
But if a PIC function requires the thunk is the first routine in a
section, we can optimize the code and escape jump instruction. To do
so we just write the

Bug: Limitation of <=2GB RAM in domU persists with 4.3.0
I just built 4.3.0 in order to get > 2GB of RAM in domU with GPU
passthrough without crashes. Unfortunately, the same crashes still
happen. Massive frame buffer corruption on domU before it locks up
solid. It seems the PCI memory stomp is still happening.
I am using qemu-dm, as I did on Xen 4.2.x.
So whatever fix for this went into 4.3.0 didn''t fix it for me.
Passing less than 2GB
