Eezee phone?
I'm just wondering if anyone knows the story with these...
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=5721202362&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT
He claims they support IAX2 and SIP... but almost no history on the account selling them. I didn't see anything in the wiki about this company either..
Does anyone have any history with these phones?
Thanks,
Jared

What my IAXy could have been...
Hi,
methinks that in the good 3 months since i ordered an IAXy, things have
changed so much that now almost anybody out there with a VoIP hardweare
website offers complete phones for less money than the IAXy, with support
for both IAX2 and SIP in many cases, and fully configurable via its own
keypad.
What would you recommend as a rugged, small, and easy to configure/use
self-contained unit that

multiline IP hardphone w/ FDX speakerphone?
Could someone please recommend a reasonably priced IP phone
that works well with *, has a decent (full duplex, echo canceling)
speakerphone, has at least two line appearances, and can
transfer / conference reliably?
The Wiki lists 35 brands of hardphone, but:
1. Most seem to be toys.
2. For many, there is no info on e.g. speakerphone characteristics.
3. When one seems technically promising, e.g.

g729 + GSM + g723
...G729 and hence is not the right choice for connectivity to Asterisk.
Recommendation:
--------------
1)Asterisk community should work on passthrough connectivity for g723(Currently it does not work, though I read that it is there)
I will post results of tests with our own Brand of SIP Phone "eezeephone *Ship" in the next post.

these phones and * in the UK. What they can/cant do with *
Also does anyone know of any good ADSI

Yeah, there's the rub. Dunno if it's worth it, I'm willing to give it

IAX on netweb EEZEE phone
I'm running asterisk stable 1.0.5 and I'm trying to get the netweb eezee
phone version v1.37.008 to talk IAX to asterisk. The pages I saw in the
wiki maybe didn't hold my hand quite enough and the information on the eezee
phone website appears to be for a different firmware version.
If anyone has done this recently and has a working situation I would
appreciate some useful hints

IP Phones ?
Hi guys,
I know this isn't strictly about Asterisk, but it is related...
I am looking to buy a few IP phones, but I don't have a huge budged (hence
why I love Asterisk, its amazing and free !), so I was wondering if anyone
knew where I could get some cheap IP Phones ?
Ideally they should be no more then about ?50 ($90).
Thanks, Paul.

Pitching Asterisk
The company I work for is looking at vendors for a PBX, one of the
requirements is VoIP. I have been sitting there listening to people
pitch very proprietary implementations of VoIP where you are locked in
to their hardware, their interface...
I know a little bit about asterisk (set up a couple offices with it...
run it at home...) and would like to pitch it to this company. Does
someone have a

phones with two ethernet ports
Hi there, what phones are available that have two ethernet ports?
I want to do some cabling at a new installation and i heard there are
such phones (SIP i guess) out there. That way i dont have to run two
cat5 to the user desktop.
I think 3COM had one but can't find the web site reference for the two
port phone
thanks,
