Cheap Learning Environment
Hello all,
Like many of you I'm sure have done, I'd like to build an * box at home
for testing/educational purposes (and to eventually have one killer
fancy schmancy phone system for my SOHO).
If I have two standard phone lines in my house, what is the cheapest
hardware solution to interface them with *?
Thanks!
Kris

Some Basic Reading
Hi there,
I'm very new here and would like to know if anyone has reccomendations
on fundamental reading (other than the handbook) whick might prevent me
from asking some really dumb questions (after this one of course).
What I'm trying to do:
I have a SOHO... very SO in fact. I would like to build a simple system
with two analog lines. I do recording and can't always have a cell

Playing announcement to called user prior to Confirmation
Hello all,
As I'm sure is pretty common, I have some extensions that dial mobile numbers
after a local timeout. I would like to prompt the caller to record their
name after the local timeout and have the recipient be able to hear the name
prior to accepting the call.
Recording the message is easy enough, so I thought about doing something like
dumping them into MeetMe after they record
