Making Wine Firefox the default browser
...place for the opposite problem -- people want wine apps to open their linux default browser. But I have the opposite problem. I use a piece of software (GradeQuick) that only runs on Windows (and Mac sometimes when it feels like it). But it runs by first opening the web page which called it (www.edline.net), and it will not run through Linux. So when I click, either on the link to the program or directly on the program itself, it opens my default browser, which is a Linux browser (I tried removing Linux Firefox, and then it opened Chrome), and goes to edline.net. SSH cannot do all DOS Commands and actions
Hi!, can you tell me why OpenSSH cannot support full
access to the DOS Prompt and all its capabilities.
If I set up to connect into CMD.EXE on the target
system using OpenSSH, I cannot run the functionality
of EDLIN to edit files with data insertion and insert
termination with CTRL&Z/C.
CTRL&C not actioned for break-out of long running
functions.

I have some vserver with Debian 5 Lenny 32bit and full root rights if necessary. I use wine to start a windows application which needs to open a gui.
